First, we chat about your goals. Do you want a super subtle barely-there blush, or a more noticeable pop of color? I'll assess your natural lip shade and undertone, and we'll mix a pigment color. Pigments come in a wide range-pinks, corals, mauves, etc. For most clients, I match the pigment to the color of their inner lip or their natural flushing color. The idea is to choose a shade that complements your skin tone and looks natural. Remember, it's easier to add color later than remove it, so I tend to start slightly lighter and more natural for the first session

I begin by outlining your lips to create a balanced shape. This outline is blended-not a harsh lip liner-just a base for correction and definition. Using a permanent makeup device, I layer pigment into the lips. We make a few passes to achieve soft, even color, focusing slightly more on the borders for symmetry. The full session takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, including numbing

Right after the session, your lips may be slightly swollen and appear brighter than expected. For example, a soft pink can look hot-pink at first due to blood flow and surface pigment. This is completely normal-color fades by 30-50% as your lips heal. I'll apply a soothing balm, and you'll already see a soft, enhanced shape forming

Lips are sensitive, so I apply a topical numbing cream and let it sit for 15-20 minutes. Most clients are pleasantly surprised-with proper numbing, the procedure feels like a vibration or light scratching. I also reapply numbing gel throughout the session to keep you comfortable
